I found this project interesting for many reasons. I’m very interested in automobiles, more specifically performance vehicles. My project of modeling the motion of a spring has many practical applications for example, we find mass-spring systems demonstrated in the suspension systems in our cars, and in the oscillating model of a sound wave. This project helped me understand how exactly trigonometry can be applied to performance cars. I learned how one could manipulate a mathematical formula could be used to correct a mass-spring system that is out of alignment. These manipulations could be used in repairing a suspension system in a car to adjust camber/caster/toe.
